Lanang Country Club is ideally located right in the heart of Davao
City, Philippines, and a few minutes drive from any hotels you might want to check in. The Davao International Airport will
also take 15 minutes going to or from the club.
The golf course is an 18 hole par 72 flat layout whose fairways are lied with trees with an
occasional presence of canals and lakes to serve as a challenge to the players.
Signature holes are the par 5 holes no# 7 & #18. Hole #7 has left a dog-leg fairways with
an island-like green at the end while hole #18 has a century old mango tree guarding your approach to its green.
The greens are small but well bunkered. Originally planted to Tifton 328, these have shown adverse
conditions occasioned by too much water and the change to native korean grass was in progress when Lanang survey was made.
All around the course, noticeable is the hand of a woman, flowering shrubs, even orchids abound
near the tee mounds and isolated spots through the green. It has a clubhouse of modern architectural design while the facilities
for the golfer are on the ground floor of a 2-storey edifice.
